It was my first time going to this clinic. I went in for a consultation and Dr Chang was very pleasant and kind. He let me make the decisions about what he thought I should do. I can't say enough about his wonderful staff. His hygienist/assistant was awesome! So gentle on the cleaning and X-rays. We all know x-rays are not fun. And she was very sociable. The front girls were so professional and nice. Every thing was sure, we can do that, I'll check into that for you.... Just so nice. I've been searching for a dental office for ever, I found it! My son's going to go there too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Went in today after a horrific experience at a different pediatric dental office a little over a month ago. My 6 year old daughter has high dentist anxiety as well as many sensory issues, including in her mouth and positioning of chair when looking and working in the mouth. Today the staff and dentist could not have been more understanding and kinder. They worked with my daughter and knew to use the heavy vest (usually used during dental x-rays) as a weighted blanket, had a tv for distraction, sunglasses for the light, and they knew how to talk to her and not bully her or try to "trick" her into anything. They also have tooth fairy tokens which is a super cute/cool idea and my daughter is very excited about. They definitely made "going to the dentist" less scary for my daughter and I am forever grateful. If you are a parent of a child who has special needs, I think you can understand exactly how important today was to us. I am so happy to have found this place and that we gave them a shot.

Please avoid going to this place!! I wish I wouldve thoroughly read through the reviews before showing up here! Dr Fang convinced me he could take out my impacted wisdom teeth, he said he has dealt with more challenging cases and that I would fine and feel no pain. He butchered me all up and put me through a bunch of pain/discomfort to not be able to remove my tooth. He was only able to crack it several times and remove small pieces. He referred me to Mass General (which he shouldve did to begin with as soon as he seen how impacted my teeth are in the X-ray)He is not qualified to take on wisdom teeth like mine!! He sowed me up and He sent me home with only ibuprofen 800mg. Later that evening I woke up with excruciating pain and extreme swelling so of course I had to miss work the next day!! Fortunately I was referred to a local dental surgeons office by a friend and they took me right in. They took very good care of me. They explained Dr fang shouldve known better and he was supposed to be cleared from insurance before performing a wisdom tooth extraction which he did not do! They told me even though they are a dental surgeon office that I would be better off being put to sleep at a hospital like mass general to get my teeth removed. They also prescribed me not only an antibiotic and but other medications to help and relieve me of my pain! I was finally able to get some sleep and some swelling has already went down. Please avoid going to Smiley Dental !! This was complete malpractice and couldve 100% been avoided!!
