        called as a father taking care of a 3 week old. I am on my own currently and needed just about any help possible since my son would not stop crying no matter what i did. I was told to call his pediatrician, note that i told them i did not believe anything was wrong with my son and just wanted advice on ways to help him sleep, it was also almost midnight. never calling again. on to nationalparenthotline or familypaths. anything is better then the help i got here

        For 9 months I have been attending the support group for parents of teenagers with special needs. It is the highlight of my week. The facilitators are kind, warm, friendly, and skilled. Attending this group has helped me gain perspective and a sense of self worth while navigating a crisis with my teenager. I have gained information and insights from talking with other parents in the group. Thank you for running this much-needed support group.
