Danger Danger Danger! STAY AWAY! I brought my pc in after changing the battery myself. It didn't fix the problem so I brought it in. I was told they couldn't do anything to it because I didn't bring in the power cord. All it needed was a generic USB-C power cord. They said they called me several times about it, which they didn't. I told them to forget it after I called to inquire of the status and I was told that nothing was done to it. I got it home and found out it had not only been opened, but a lot of the screws that used to be there were gone! It was put back together in a very shoddy manner! Only 2 screws wrre put back instead of the 8 that were in there. What's worse was a wire was left under one of the feet of the power supply. Sure to wear out over time. I wish I could make this known to EVERYONE to keep them from this. I wish there was a way I could shut them down to protect others from them.

I brought my laptop in because of overheating, I paid $80 to have the fan vacuumed out, yeah I thought that was a little high too. That wasn't the worst of it though, the wifi hasn't worked right since I got it back. I don't know if it was carelessness but now I have a brick on my hands.

Sir, this entire review is a lie.I worked on your laptop myself. I am the owner, and I have been working in the repair field for over 25 years. I also work on far more complicated things than laptops. I can practically take apart laptops and reassemble them in my sleep, and we assembled it for you the same exact way it arrived in our shop. I have proof of that. You sound surprised that the laptop was opened. First of all, in your review, you clearly stated that you opened it yourself. But additionally, you brought in the laptop because it wouldn't turn on. Of course we were going to open the laptop. That's part of diagnosing the problem. We actually check things inside instead of jumping to conclusions like some other businesses. If you would have rathered us not open your laptop, you shouldn't have brought it into our shop, or any shop, for repair. Clearly you knew what you were doing if you opened up the laptop yourself, right? Not sure why you'd need to bring it anywhere if you already knew what you were doing. Probably just looking to blame us for your mistakes. That being said, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about regarding a wire being left under one of the feet of the power supply. You never brought us a power supply, nor do they generally have feet. If you're talking about something internal, laptops also generally don't have room to route cables where they aren't supposed to go on the inside, they typically go in one place and that's it. If you have a problem with cable placement inside of your laptop, you should take it up with the manufacturer. Yes, I did call you multiple times about bringing us a power cord. We had multiple USB-C chargers that we tried, but I suspected your USB-C charge port may have been bad. You were supposed to be looking for the actual round plug, non-USB-C AC Adapter for your laptop, which you stated you might have, and contacting me if you found it. You contacted us again about a week later asking about the status, and we told you the same exact thing. Then you called us again days later and said you wanted to pick it up. I reassembled it for you because it was apart still, taking up space on our benches for weeks that we could have been using to work on other customer's systems due to your apparent inability to remember having conversations with us. We didn't charge you a storage fee or anything.I really don't know what you're trying to accomplish with this review besides spreading misinformation about our business. They call that defamation, slander and libel in court, sir. I'll gladly meet you there to discuss it if you'd like.

Tony, If you paid $80, I'm sure we did more than simply "vacuuming out" the fan (we don't actually vacuum out anything), such as completely removing the heatsink and fan assembly to replace the heat transfer paste with better paste. This actually requires you to take out the motherboard on many models, although I'm not sure that's the case with your model. If you're having problems with your system, we'll gladly take another look at it for you. You should talk to us about the problems you're having instead of simply posting a bad review, it honestly doesn't get anything accomplished and isn't particularly fair to either one of us. If you give us an opportunity to take care of you, we'll come through.
