My wife and I were on vacation in the Plymouth and Cape Cod area around 2015 and picked Grace Church to attend on Sunday. We happened to be there the morning the pastor read Tracy Ferries letter of resignation to the congregation, as he (Tracy) was preparing for a year-long world tour with Boston. Fast forward to today. I was just reading an interview with Tracy, conducted by a Stryper member. What an encouraging and strengthening testimony that came from that interview! I might have missed it if I had not had that brief connection through Grace Church.

I've known Pastor David Johnson and his family since he was an Associate Pastor at Grace Chapel in Lexington, Massachusetts. He and his wife Tricia were and are the epitome of living a life of emulating Jesus! I was around Pastor David and his wife at their home and in their ministry and I even aided in a mission trip in Ecuador with Pastor David who was an exemplary leader - I selfishly babysat to be near them to learn from them in all areas of life. It was truly the most heartfelt, meaningful and fun time of my life when I was around them or with any of their family members. They are truly a rare Christ-like family. I will always praise and thank God for this important time of my life.

Grew up in a church (not this one). Continued in church but stopped a few years ago (I'm in my 30s). So I had lots of church experience. Something didn't feel right. Until I came here. Last minute, my family and I decided to try this church and it really hit what we needed. They don't shy away from questions or a desire to learn more. They're not scared if you have an inner conflict or your trying to find your way. And they don't shove things down your throat nor are they money hungry. They also don't mind or mold to make you feel better about yourself instead they help you understand your own personal relationship with God. No over the top theatrics. They did worship, a short sermon, then we all split up (kids went into there groups and it was adult time). And honestly I felt like I was in children's church but in a good way. It was a Bible discussion led by someone who knows his stuff. It's like they took the church members, and found there gifts and uses for them. I didn't even know I wanted or would enjoy this type of set up but it was exactly what we needed and it stuck with us. I was used to churches that would get you drunk on Jesus on Sunday then by Saturday your drunk on the world. This was sustainable, teachable, extremely friendly (not phony) place. And I'm really glad we went.
