    I am very sad about what is happening between health personnel and patients. They are hiring people who do not have any type of tact, empathy, respect, among other bad qualities that I could go on and on. My experience today is that I call early to follow up on an order from the doctor who treated me recently (3/28/2024). I must return in ten days to have a matter addressed with my ears that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I am undergoing treatment and I need the doctor to complete what she started. After I have to wait 23 minutes for them to answer the call (the receptionist) which is in fact unprofessional and disrespectful. I explain the purpose of my call and he gives me an appointment at the end of the month. I tell her that please, it's urgent and that in fact the doctor wanted to see me in ten days...she completely ignored it and on the contrary told me to go to Urgent Care...and I remembered that they have done that to me before...and believe me, no. I am at the doctors all the time. When I tell him that this has happened to me before and I think it's not right, he responds disrespectfully and I say: What is your name? Do you know what it did automatically? Hung up the call. Because? Because he knows he is doing something wrong. These people can't continue harming patients. The lives of many people are being lost but it is not so much the disease but the lack of health professionals and employees in clinics and hospitals (and I am not generalizing) but they must understand that they are called to help and humanely care for those patients. In fact, that's what they are paid for and if there are no patients who call then why should they be employed? What a sad reality!
