my cousin told me they treat kids like animals they teased the kid to get the Mad teachers come in angry every single day lazy teachers in a school giving kids bruises all the time teachers treating kids like retards they have told me they get no math skills no history skills All do is clean all day teachers do nothing all they do is talk crap about the kids and staff members some teachers got no idea what they're saying some teachers come in Stoned and staff members I heard staff members and teachers getting mad for no reason little cousin came home with bruises on his arms

Absolutely preposterous! A very unsafe and noisy environment. Staff are hired with absolutely no social skills, and are extremely unprofessional. Students are treated like animals, all due to small behavioral issues. My child would often come home with bruises, because the staff at Springdale Education Center feel that any sort of disrespect or attitude would be a form of the student being "unsafe," and such would lead into an unnecessary restraint. Staff are extremely revengeful and feel that a restraint should be used towards causing pain to the child, in order for them to learn their lesson and not talk back. One popular form of punishment that the Springdale Education Center program would use on their students would be what they like to call a "shutdown." They gather up an entire classroom, this is even including the children that have been behaving themselves, and force them to form a circle around a small room, and stand there without any seat for about half the School day, which is really defeating the purpose of education. While a shutdown is in progress, any sort of speaking or movement would lead into a rough body slam to the floor, or as they like to call it, a "restraint," as well as a lot of unnecessary yelling. School is meant to be a safe learning environment, not a place of which students fear. I would have to give Springdale Education Center a large thumbs down. I do not recommend this program to any child that is in need of special attention.
