Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn

No one told us it was also a homeless shelter! Bathroom exhaust fan hadn't been cleaned for God knows when! Rooms: Rooms weren't bad, but bathroom exhaust fan hadn't been cleaned in years! It was gross! Safety: The hotel was an intake for homeless people, that is certainly loyal, but comes with dangers! Security guards on all floors! Not a warm and fuzzy feeling for our kids!

The hotel staff are very friendly. The rooms are nice. The neighborhood is a quiet area. Here is where my bad review comes into play. This is no longer a Best Western. They are housing long time individuals that are seeking help for addiction. That is amazing for people that need it. My problem with this is I wasnt given the information and opportunity to decide for myself if I wanted to continue to stay or have my company pay at a different hotel. Nothing was communicated. I only found out by accident.

This place is currently (mid-March '24) mediocre. Judging by the smell in the hallway, smoking is allowed - that's rare at Best Western hotels. But they are in the midst of some renovations, so let's not judge too harshly - for now.

This is the WORST hotel I have been to they changed the linen on the bed once a week, they put the same towels back on the rack, just folded them thinking you won't know , they don't vacuum the room, the exercise room has 1 exercise bike and 1 exercise bench and nothing else, vending machines don't work, cigarette buts all over the place outside, I even seen a needle on the ground, due yourself a favor and spend an $10 and go somewhere else Rooms: Dirty never cleaned Safety: I seen a needle on the ground outside
