Wray and company are super nice. They are experts in their finicky world of compound sheet metal forming. Their shop is clean and well equipped.

Great place to learn whether if youre starting out or have a good amount of experience, you put into it what you get out of it. Recommend a 2 day course if you do not have a project to work on and the 4 day course if you have one.

While the shop may be 20k square feet, half of it is filled with a pile of junk parts and abandoned vehicles. The photos show it being well laid out and spacious but currently it is anything but. The first day was a complete waste and we didnt even see any basic metal work until 6.5 hours into it, and even then it wasnt useful metal shaping knowledge only basic dent removal. There was no structure or format for learning as you would expect, very much a free form trial and error environment. When you arent taught the basic principles then it results in all errors. Wray will say that smaller class sizes arent more beneficial but when you have to wait at least an hour to even get 2 minutes of his time because 15 other students are asking for help you make no progress. Maybe there was a time when he was more attentive and had a nice shop conducive to learning but that time has passed. I can not in good conscience recommend this class as all I got out of it was a lighter wallet.
