I have been suffering from the many side effects of menopause for at least the last several years. Extreme fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, loss of libido and night sweats, just to mention a few. Finding a provider that believes in a combination of hormones is not as easy as you think. Traditional gynecologists may not even specialize in menopause care, and you may be prescribed synthetic hormones, just because that is the only thing insurance will cover. Being on bioidentical hormones that include testosterone, has been a lifesaver. I feel like my old self again. Lorianne is an experienced provider who has actually worked with older patients for decades. She understands the way our bodies change with age and how to make yourself feel better. We also worked on a health plan that includes exercise and small dietary changes to maximize my energy. The best thing about my experience is that I did not feel rushed during my appointment. She really took the time to fully understand my concerns and gave me suggestions on how to talk to my primary care provider about my other health conditions.
