So sad to see this place close at end of 2023, after 40 years of having it here. I will miss it. The customer service has always been top notch, the quality of the tools also has been very high. Sure you won't see tooling prices in the Amazon or Harbor Freight price range, but then again, those are "relative junk" to wat you got here, great quality. I still have hi-quality router bits fr here bought 35+ yrs ago, not so w the cheapos.. ie: U get wat U pay4, deffn applies here!! The closest Rockler is now in Salem, NH..

I was charged an MSRP Price instead of what labeled in the store 189 vs. 114. With the discounted item, it leaves me with about $10 taken because of this mistake. I was shocked, asked for correction, but seems to resist correcting the mistake. I lost trust and left. They are also talking about shop lifting as an execuse of items lost which I understand, it makes folks feel unsafe specially when shoping.They are closing soon anyway. I hope quick employment for all - woodworking is a good thing.

These folks are great, the staff are all woodworking folks with wide range of experience, I've found everyone who works here is able and helpful! Add that to a good stock of essentials and great brands -- in addition to being a staple of my wood working life, they're a pleasure to do business with.

Nice spot. You pay a premium, but the organisation and the ability to select specific pieces of wood at ones leisure justifies the price. Great staff.
