Holiday Inn Express & Suites Boston - Cambridge, an IHG Hotel

Reaching from Logan Airport: Straightforward (Remember there are two Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Boston). This one is Boston-Cambridge. Check-In: Super smooth (Having the IHG App helps Wi-Fi: Got auto connect with the App. Connection was consistent (no disconnection) but speeds were iffy. Toilets & bath: Adequate. More lighting would have made shaving easier. Coffee: Had a Keurig Coffeemaker. Two cups, three coffee pods of same type with sugar were provided daily. Beds: Very Comfortable View: Nothing to speak of. Heating: Great Breakfast: Limited variety, but wont complain Service: Reception is the only service, which was adequate. Overall, good experience for the cost.

I had a weekend of classes at Harvard and spent three nights at this location. The hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast was hot and plentiful, and Tyler (front desk) was a delight. He went above and beyond to accommodate a late checkout request due to a class running over. We appreciate the ease of this stay during a chaotic weekend.

Nice, clean, well maintained rooms and building, comfortable beds, easy air-conditioning wall thermostat adjustments and a bright clean bathroom (nothing remarkable in terms of decor). Clean bathrooms, fresh towels daily. The only downside for some might be the noise from a current construction project going on across the street and some of the noisier vehicles traveling down Monsignor O'Brien Highway closest to the lower numbered rooms on each floor of the building. We walked everywhere. To the tea party museum, throughout China town, Beacon Hill, the campuses of Harvard, MIT, and BU all from the hotel during the cold and wet nor-easter with a toy poodle in tow. Unless you have an issue walking there's no need to drive around looking for parking or feeding parking meters or worse. The streets were pretty clean and surprisingly safe. Lots of police presence everywhere it seemed. Anyway no outward signs of crime day or night during our 4 days there (we're from NYC, born n raised so take it for what it's worth). You also can find much of what you might need (coffee, water, etc) located within the strip mall just up the block.
