I would highly recommend Jasmine. Jasmine provided my son with acupuncture. He was having pain and nothing we had tried seemed to be helping. After going to Jasmine weekly for a few months his symptoms got better. She spoke to him with such respect, always honoring his wishes and asking about his experience with curiosity and openness. She created an incredibly calm and peaceful environment, which made him look forward to going to his treatments with Jasmine. She also explained everything she did in clear ways to me and answered all the questions I had about the theory and practice of her work.

What I really like about Jasmine is that she incorporates a few different modalities of healing in her sessions, from acupuncture needles to cupping to dietary advice. Its very helpful, and I feel like I get a lot out of my visits. They always help to rebalance my system and make me feel grounded.

When I went off the pill, I decided to stop taking unnecessary chemicals and medication into my body. As soon as I stopped taking the pill, my period became really heavy, so heavy that it was hard to go anywhere without a bathroom nearby. I wanted to treat the problem naturally and had had some success with another acupuncturist, but he moved away. Before making an appointment with Jasmine, I had seen at least five acupuncturists in the past 15 years. None of them helped me as thoroughly as Jasmine did. None of the five acupuncturists made me feel as confident in the quality of the treatments I received, and as safe to share my fears about my health. Some of the acupuncturists I had seen ran their office in a way that is similar to any western medical practice. The acupuncturist would spend 5-10 minutes inserting needles in me and was not really interested in hearing about my health concerns. Other acupuncturists spent a lot of time listening to me, but when it came to treating me, they had a hard time remembering the treatments they had given me in prior appointments. When my acupuncturist left town, I dreaded going through the whole process of finding another acupuncturist. By that time, I just wanted someone who knew what they were doing and whose treatments would be effective. I gave up on locating that perfect healer, someone who takes a holistic approach to health and well-being, is caring and compassionate, and has the sharp clinical skills of a western medical doctor. But then I found Jasmine. She has a warmth about her that made me feel instantly comfortable. Each time I had an appointment with her, she took into consideration my emotional state, and questioned me about stress, and recent changes in my life that could have an effect on my physical health. During my appointments, I remember basking in her genuine concern for my well-being in one moment, and in another, seeing her intently focused on me and the treatment she was applying to my body. Jasmine treated my health issues and me with the care and seriousness of a true friend.

I discovered Jasmine at a networking event a few weeks ago and have had three treatments with her thus far and plan to be a regular customer. I was treated by another acupuncturist a few years ago for a frozen shoulder but that practitioner did not offer a maintenance plan and my symptoms were starting to return. The first treatment with Jasmine relieved the tightness that had been building, and the next two made further improvements. I now am pain free again and able to sleep without pain pills. Jasmine is very knowledgeable and professional and has a warm, friendly manner. She offers attractively priced packages that are perfect for people like me who want to be treated on a regular basis to avoid falling back into a painful condition. I love that her office is so easy to find as it is within a block of the Davis Square MBTA station.
