Pine Village is an amazing daycare/preschool. My older son attended for three years after previously attending Bright Horizons, and this was such a huge step up. My two younger kids have attended for the past year and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are loving and attentive and my kids are fluent in Spanish even though we don't speak Spanish at home. Teacher turnover is much better than at other daycares - my kids have had the same teachers many years in a row here, and they seem to be good at retaining and promoting staff. The staff are very cautious about covid protocols so we feel very safe. My kids love it here and love the teachers. Highly recommend!

I can't speak more highly of Pine Village Preschool in Porter Square. My daughter has been attending since she was 15 months old (she is nearly 4) and our collective experience is that this is a warm, inclusive, engaging environment where she is consistently challenged in an incredibly positive and nurturing way to learn and grow with a well rounded and interactive curriculum. Her teachers in each class she has been in have been fantastic and are very knowledgeable in the education field.  I truly feel so lucky to have found a school where I know she is loved and she loves going. I visited many other schools/daycares before visiting Pine Village and as soon as i arrived and took the tour I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to be. The small classes help children really connect with their teachers, the families really get to know one another too as the school itself is on the small size (which i love!),  and I would recommend our school to anyone (and have done so on many, many occasions)!.

My daughter has attended Pine Village since it opened its Porter Square location, over 3 years ago.  Prior to that she was in another not so great daycare.  She is very happy at PVP and I can't say enough good things about Jennifer, the school head.  Every decision made by the school through some difficult times has been respectful and appropriate.  My daughter goes in happily to see her "friends" which include both her classmates and her teachers.  PVP does lots of great things including an annual apple picking field trip, musical guests, reptile shows, and more.  They are also teaching my daughter so much.  Her teachers, Ohdra and Eliana and others have helped her develop independence and personhood.  As to the posts that give a bad rating, I will say I am familiar with one case and the school did everything they could and chose the right course of action in a difficult situation.

I am saving specific comments for the court case. For now, I will just say that my son attended this school for 7 months and they caused him and me a great distress. Moreover, after just two weeks of attending two other different schools now, he has already regained confidence and is so much more happy and relaxed. I have noticed several serious deficiencies in many aspects, including but not limited to employing and supporting some lazy and incompetent teachers. The business management is not involved, but then they feel entitled to make decisions about the future of your child, even though they have hardly seen the child in person, cannot pronounce their name on a voice mail and even misspelled your last name in the communication. Do not get fooled by the policies that they post in their website/blog, because it is just a marketing tool, that is not what they apply in the classrooms.

Our son attends PVP in porter square and he loves it there. The philosophy of the school is child centric and they treat each child as an individual rather than just just building cohorts around ages. I also find the teachers very talented in art, song or dance which has been a great learning experience for our child.With their small classes and individual attention I don't see any other alternatives that come close in this area.
