        I must admit I was a bit skeptical when I first entered Dudley Cafeits front counter just doesnt scream (or suggest in an appropriately caffeinated but mellow tone) great espresso made here! But I was wrong. Great espresso is pulled here. Tasty English, not too sweet and sufficiently crumbly scones are served here too. And at least today, with upbeat not-pop, not-classic rock piped in at just the right volume, people at several tables here are actually talking to each other, unlike the solitary remote workers that seem to take every available seat at so many coffee shops and sit there, in mausoleum-like quiet, singlemindedly interacting with the pixelated reality before them, afraid to interact with the fellow remotes around them. Come to Dudley Cafe for the coffee, stay for food and atmosphere.
