Technician called to confirm address and was at my house 20 minutes later. He is very professional, fast and courteous. As soon as he walked in and was shown which doors were needing to be re-keyed, he got right to work. I think total time from initial call to completion was about an hour and 45 minutes.

I needed to rekey 4 external deadbolt locks in my home before the end of the day and so called Locksmith Burlington. I was pleased that within an hour and a half of my call Nick arrived. He quoted me a price of $960, and since I was anxious to complete the rekey that day I accepted what I thought was an excessive fee. Nick took one of the cylinders to his truck and a while later told me that he wasn't able to rekey the locks because he didn't have the correct part in his truck that was needed because of a security feature of the lock. To finish the job he'd need to go get the parts and return boosting the price to over $1,000. At that time my faith in his ability to complete the work was wavering and I was unhappy that the price had risen even higher and so I declined his offer. Later that day a local locksmith did the job on short notice in about an hour for under $400. When I originally called I thought I was dealing with a local locksmith company but now I think Locksmith Burlington is more like an answering service that offers jobs to independent locksmiths. Nick's truck and clothing displayed no branding, and he wanted to be paid via Venmo or a check made out to him personally. It's not clear if Locksmith Burlington was responsible for the work or if it was just Nick. The response time was great but based on the excessive fee, problem completing the job, and lack of clarity regarding who I was dealing with I can't recommend this company.
