The food was great but services. We were pressed to leave for 4 times. Our conversation was continually disrupted as the server kept approaching to us asking us hows everything for FOUR timesEven when theres no plate on the table for her to clear, she continually to ask and pressing us to leave. I was a server before and I knew exactly what shes doing, but for a continual unprofessional behavior for FOUR times thats not acceptable. The two white women dine next to us was there before us and they didnt receive any type of pressing like that. Me and my partner are feeling being discriminated as we are the minority and dine in a such white restaurant.

Damn good tacos- especially the pork belly, seared chorizo, and crispy oyster! Delicious guac and ceviche. Margaritas and other cocktails are very tasty. Solid kids menu. Beautiful spot, in an awesome neighborhood. Staff were very friendly and patient with requests for our toddler (milk, etc). You can order via QR/website or using a check list menu like we did. Had an odd experience with one dish; a large (not large, more like a side) kale caesar was delivered with no dressing. Turns out theyd run out of caesar dressing but it was sent out anyway. Also- better communication about allergies is crucial. We almost had a situation when we told our server a member of our party had a shellfish allergy and after checking (with the kitchen? With a manager?) he told us there was only cod in the ceviche. It absolutely had shrimp. A dangerous mistake that we thankfully caught.

Just swung by bartaco with my bud, and let me tell you, their tacos are next level! Plus, Maren at bartaco was a total MVP with her killer service. She knew the menu inside out(every dish she recommended was absolutely delicious), checked on us constantly, making sure our time there was top-notch. Cant wait to return for another round of tacos and cocktails :)
