Golden Temple has beautiful architecture and is extremely clean adding to the upscale but casual atmosphere. The seating is nicely spaced to enjoy your meal without being crowded. I found that they do a great job with the popular New England Chinese appetizers. They have old school Egg Rolls that are filled with a perfect mixture. You can eat them without needing any duck sauce. The famous Golden Temple Ribs are worth the extra money. Nice char and flavor. Crisp on the outside tender on the inside easily coming off the bone. I would consider these very high up on my list for best in the state. The Chicken Wings had a nice dark color that gets you excited to take a bite. They were crispy and juicy with a very nice flavor. The Beef Teriyaki was marinated nicely and very flavorful. The Hot and Sour Soup was good, but a little heavy handed on the vinegar. The Shrimp were cooked perfectly in the Lobster Sauce. The sauce was okay. The Orange Beef lacked any crispiness, was hard to cut and the sauce had more of a tomato flavor. Overall the food was really good with the appetizers being the star of the show. They alone make it worth checking out. I'll try some different entres next time. My friends tell me the Lobster Sauce is great. I will probably give it a second try and see if I caught an off night.
