My husband underwent a routine dental cleaning, but it resulted in severe gum injury and infection. Despite seeking follow-up care, the dentist not only neglected the infection but also performed a poorly executed dental crown procedure, causing further complications like a hematoma and tongue injury. After worsening infection, another dentist diagnosed him with a gum infection exacerbated by the prior dentist's errors. Subsequently, due to nerve damage inflicted during the dental work, he now requires ongoing treatment by a surgeon for his pain and nerve damage. The manager at Brookline Dental contacted my husband and urged him to return for a reevaluation by the dentist who caused his pain, promising to alleviate his suffering. We are stunned by this request after enduring three months of severe pain, sleeplessness, numerous dental visits, oral surgery, consultations with neurologists, and visits to pain clinics. Despite all these efforts, my husband continues to struggle with pain, and this situation has become a total nightmare.

Orthopedic team - I got Invisalign with Dr. G and her amazing team of assistants. They were so kind and caring throughout the entire process from consultation to completion. I always felt comfortable coming to my appointments. And I am overjoyed with the results! My teeth have never looked so good!! Id also like to acknowledge Sarah, my (and my husbands) dental hygienist and Dr. Fatahi, our dentist for their amazing work. Sarah is excellent at what she does and a joy to hang out with for my cleaning. We always make sure to book our cleanings with them and trust their recommendations and advice. Well be sending our children to Dr. Fatahi and Sarah, and Dr. G if they need braces! Highly recommend the dental and orthopedic teams!!

I went in for a cleaning and had an excellent experience! The office has lots of modern technology like a dental scanner, but it's definitely the compassionate and professional staff that will have me returning. My hygienist (who saw me exactly on time) was extremely meticulous and offered lots of useful advice for improving my oral health, while the doctor provided a careful exam as well. I also was impressed by how knowledgeable the receptionist was in answering my questions. I highly recommend Brookline Dental Specialists to anyone looking for both quality and caring dental services! Update: I wanted to add to this review after having a few cavities filled at Brookline Dental Specialists. The process was as smooth and painless as can be Ive never had such an easy experience with fillings. Dr. Murphy is an exceptional dentist!

Brookline Dental Specialists truly are the best! My cleanings are always conducted with top notch quality and care. Sarah, my hygienist, does a great job with getting me in and out the door for a cleaning! I am always impressed with the work done at this office.

In January 2024, I visited Brookline Dental Specialist for a routine tooth crown procedure on my lower teeth, under the care of Dr. Amirali Fattahi. I anticipated a straightforward process, but it turned into an ordeal. Dr. Fattahi administered anesthesia multiple times, with one injection feeling as if it almost pierced through my cheek, and another striking my tongue. That night, I experienced intense pain that spread from my jaw to all the teeth and gums on my right side, even extending to the side of my head. Upon returning for a check-up, I was informed by another dentist that Dr. Fattahi had inadvertently caused a hematoma on my cheek, which was supposed to heal in a few weeks. However, eight weeks later, the pain persists, and I can only sleep after taking nerve pain medication. This experience with Dr. Fattahi has resulted in considerable discomfort and distress, and there has been no apology or follow-up from the clinic. Initially, I had planned to have two tooth crowns, but after this experience, I only proceeded with one. Despite having paid in advance for both, and being assured by the front desk secretary that I would be refunded for the undelivered service, I have yet to receive a refund. This has been the most terrifying encounter Ive had with a dental clinic, and I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone.
