I did not find this therapist helpful for me and canceled after three sessions. The red flags were she made me feel uncomfortable by asking me to lay back on the couch and allow her to observe me, which felt strange and unnatural, and also led to me ultimately saying what I thought Marjan wanted to hear. Additionally, I was wearing my gym clothes one day and she called me out on that, saying I can't wear shorts to the sessions and next session to please ensure I'm dressed appropriately (per her standards). She never set that expectation uprfront and that's effectively the same thing as me asking her to wear a hijab/cover her hair... She should not be introducing expectations/standards on dress into therapy sessions, especially when it's subjective.
