We visited off season, so didn't have to worry about the parking permit issues others have mentioned.
Visiting during low tide is a fun opportunity to walk out into the sandy areas and explore.
We saw tons of snails, hermit crabs and sea birds.
Spending an hour or two exploring here is fun - but it's not a beach that you'd want to plan an entire day around.
The sunset we saw was pretty spectacular.
