        After the pandemic and then the state assistance ran out, I was left with a small amount of SNAP benefits. Feeling a lot of anxiety as to how I was going to meet my grocery needs, I met with the kind people at the North End ABCD. They took the time to explain their process, hours of operation, and what was available on what days. There were not only boxed and/or canned meals, but they offered some fresh fruits and vegetables. Thank you all so much for your help and compassion!
