It is so hard to find someone you can trust, especially in real estate. You need a professional who is honest, knowledgeable, experienced and a good communicator. Above all, the dream is that they will truly look out for you and work on your behalf. Unfortunately, that is not often the case. But I'm here to shout from the rooftops - I found one! Jay Goober went out of his way/above and beyond to help my brother with his complex real estate needs. Not only is Jay a kind and patient listener, but he really knows his stuff, is a straight shooter and doesn't dance around the truth. Whether you are buying or selling, I recommend Jay Goober without reservation. He is smart, honest and goodhearted. A rarity in this field. Maureen was an amazing realtor every step of the way. She was super responsive to what we were looking for, and made herself available basically every weekend to look at places with us. She always had our best interests at heart, did research about each place, and noticed little things we could have easily missed, saving us from making a bad purchase. She also was connected to lawyers, loan officers, and insurance agents who were high quality and friendly, so working with Maureen means you will not have to hunt for good people in the other steps of the home buying process. We love Maureen and would recommend her to anyone!

Tried going to an open house today listed by Lynn Saucier, who was just downright rude. There's a line between being professionally responsible and just down-right rude, and today Lynn was just way over the line. Go with somebody else, anybody else. Here's how it went down: Showed up 30 minutes ahead of the open house not realizing that we HAD to schedule a private appointment in order to view a property listed by Lynn. Mind you, the owners were super kind when I knocked on the door before Lynn even showed up, and asked that I wait for her. Wish them nothing but the best, but go find someone else to represent you. After speaking to the owners, my wife and I waited for Lynn to arrive on site, and when I approached her to inquire if we could quickly tour the property before those with appointments arrived, I was met with "You did not call ahead of time" "why would you do that? drive all the way here from _____?" "Do you realize there's a pandemic going on?" "Do you even have an agent?" "Absolutely not you cannot come in today." "It's already tough enough for the owners to allow strangers in right now" Again and again I found myself defending why I had inexplicably thought that it'd be "fun" to drag my 8 1/2mo pregnant wife along today 45 minutes away from our home to view a property that we were interested in. Instead of delivering the message in a respectful way, Lynn just kept up with her incredulous line of questioning as if I would do something so ridiculous as showing up to an OPEN HOUSE that we wanted to buy! It could have been a courteous exchange, instead I drove off feeling like I was being lectured like I was a child who was looking to endanger others. No thanks, ain't got time to deal with people like that. Too much trouble for what it's worth. Oh and lastly, where does it say that it's appointment only?

Our experience with Maureen was outstanding. Her knowledge, experience, and communication style made the entire selling process seamless. Selling a home is stressful, but Maureens pleasant and calm demeanor, attention to detail, and follow through put us at ease. She kept us informed every step of the way and was always available when we had questions. We highly recommend Maureen and look forward to working with her again.
