Tom at Oakmont was the best realtor we could have asked for and helped us find our DREAM home in Salem, MA in a very scary market. We were house hunting from across the country and Tom bent over backwards for us through the whole process: meeting our family at open houses (he's on a first-name basis with an embarrassing amount of our family members), countless facetimes, and giving up two Friday nights to go to bat on bidding wars. Tom acted like our partner through the process, never pushing us into anything we were uncomfortable withif anything he was often the voice of reason, making sure we weren't missing ANY red flags on the properties we looked at. If you're looking for someone that you can trust and will always have your best interests in mind, Tom is your guy. As a first-time homebuyer, I knew very little about the homebuying process. Thankfully, I had Tom there to guide me every step of the way. Tom's deep knowledge of the market and real estate industry made me feel like I always had an advantage when attending open houses, putting in offers, etc. He was there day and night whenever I needed him. Tom assisted myself and my partner purchase our first home together and we have since recommended him to all of our friends. It was a truly seamless and enjoyable experience working with Tom as our realtor! He was very responsive, taking calls from us day or night and scheduling showings early in order to make sure we could get competitive offers in quickly, we truly felt like his first priority throughout the process. When we looked at houses he would strategize with us afterwards, giving us his honest advice based on his experience in the area which we greatly appreciated.
