Wonderful company! All of their properties are so nice! Paula was so responsive and had such a great demeanor. It felt like she truly cared about my well-being and that I had a great stay. I absolutely would use this company again.

Great rental company. Ive been leasing from BREC for over two years and its been a very positive experience. The team is always helpful and responsive. Especially Paula, who has only ever been kind and understanding in responding to questions or concerns weve had throughout the years. The maintenance team is capable and reliable. Overall I would gladly keep renting with BREC as long as Im in Boston.

I moved to my new unit and I honestly love this building. The move was so stressful but Paula has been such great help in making me feel right at home in my new place!! I cant thank her enough for all her assistance!!! I highly recommend staying in this building and its very convenient if you want to be nearby many stores and restaurants.

The worst management Ive ever experienced. Not only are they never prompt in their responses, especially concerning maintenance issues, their properties are unwarrantedly unsecured. Their leasing office on Washington St was violently vandalized, leaving a broken window and glass everywhere; but more importantly they leave central keys in unprotected lockboxes. Recently, the building which I reside in was broken into for this reason and multiple residents items were stolen. After speaking with BPD detectives, even they were appalled by the lack of security measures in the building. No action has been taken by BREC even though maintenance and safety concerns have been voiced before. Moreover, they boast newly renovated properties when in actuality the craftsmanship is shoddy (mismatched lights, paint splatters everywhere, poor wiring etc). We moved in to malfunctioning appliances and multiple fixtures came undone within a couple months of moving in; weve since paid out of pocket to independent contractors to have such issues fixed. Do NOT make the mistake of renting with this agency, it is a massive liability and ran by agents that do not take renters concerns seriously. This is my second year with this company and it is my biggest regret. Any positive reviews are fake as evidenced by the lack of corroboration compared to negative reviews. Their leasing contracts are predatory and they try to rebuke accountability using those terms. However, there is clear negligence on their part in securing the building (supported by both BPD detectives and officers), so make sure to understand the terms you are agreeing to.

It has been an an amazing 5 months living here. I love everything about this building so far, it is always very well taken care of, and clean. Everyone is very respectful and friendly. Thank you to Paula for making the moving in process easy and straight forward. She has been great, always provides great communication, she responds in a timely manner and is very nice! Regarding maintenance, I have made a several maintenance requests during these 5 months and the maintenance team always responds in atimely manner as well and provide greatservice. I have no complains regarding them, they have been great to work with. Sometimes, my packages get delivered to the other building you guys manage I believe is in the one in Comb St, and the property manager has been kind enough to bring my packages to the building and sends me an email. As you can see, the service has been great. Thank you to Paula onceagain, and everyone involved in making this building a pleasant place to live.
