Torrington Properties

We are residents of Torrington property since long time. We are impressed with the team member of the property. Our property manager Tessa is very helpful and addresses issues professionally. Taylor Ward, another manager, is also very impressive. I was out of the country for three months recently, and my wife told me that heating system malfunctioned in the bedroom; thankfully, the problem was quickly resolved. Overall, We feel like we are in good hands with Torrington.

Rene, the head of on-call staff, is helpful, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable on the building. He has helped and fixed every problem or issue Ive run into during this lease.

Had to get the city health inspector involved to fix a sewage leak that Torrington refused to acknowledge or fix. Spent months living with sewage spewing into the basement below our first floor unit. The smell was horrible. Tessa and Eric did not answer emails and would say "the pipes are old." Maintenance would put air fresheners by our door instead of cleaning the sewage off of the floor. The city cited them with several violations (including finding some dead rats) and was preparing to take them to court before they finally made an attempt to fix the issue. They pretended like the one-time $500 rent credit they gave us was enough to resolve the issue of their blatant lease violation/weeks of jack hammering in the basement/months of living above sewage. Don't rent with Torrington.

Moved into a recently renovated apartment in South Boston owned by Torrington. We looked at a lot of apartments in the area and this one was BY FAR the cleanest and most updated apartment. Their standard is clearly higher than other landlords in the area, so thank you Torrington!
