I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Gandhi and his entire team at BIDMC. My laminectomy procedure was incredibly successful...a miracle really. The pain is COMPLETELY gone. I'm so grateful. I went into the process feeling so discouraged and uncomfortable. The pain had been unbearable for a very long time. I had tried every avenue of approach and nothing seemed to work. It was not until after I was connected with Dr Gandhi that my dilemma was solved. I was carefully guided through what exactly the issue was, and how it could be resolved. ALL of my appointments, before and after, were handled with so much care and attention to detail. I felt deeply cared for at a time when I really needed help. I recommend BIDMC and Dr. Gandhi (and his team) if you are ever in a similar situation.

I would like anyone who is reading this that I strongly recommend Dr. Sapan Gandhi and his team. From the moment of initial consultation, assessing options and finally the surgery, he and his team were comprehensive and thorough. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. It should be noted that I did receive alternative opinions from other providers and other providers did not recommend as much preliminary testing and/or monitoring during the surgery. I can say that I had not lingering issues besides the surgical pain for the first week. I am very happy,I went with Dr. Gandhi. I would, also like to extend thanks to the hospital and all the team members who provide me, with excellent care I received.

Nothing but high praise for Dr. Gandhi and the staff at Beth Israel. The pre-op visits, the communication, even the waiting room and parking. My surgery was 100% successful. Dr. Gandhi and staff were pleasant and efficient . There was zero pain afterwards. In fact, I took a three mile walk the very next day.

I was struggling with back issues for years. I tried everything from chiropractors, to physical therapy, and multiple cortisone injections until it got so bad that I had to bring my MRI imaging to multiple surgeons for consults. Nobody was as empathetic or as genuine and honest in their feedback as Doctor Sapan Gandhi. Immediately he made me feel like he truly cared about helping me, laid out his plan for surgery, and never made me feel rushed although I know he is a very busy man. The surgery itself was a huge success. I was at the point that I could not walk without crutches beforehand and Dr. Gandhi got me back to living an active lifestyle without pain. All pre-op and post-op appointments were timely, and communication from beginning to end was clear as could be. Dr. Gandhi is as kind and professional as anyone I have ever encountered in the medical field and I could not recommend him more highly. -Matthew Batchelder
