My grandmother was sent here after her surgery and was treated so badly. Place is dirty and the workers are so rude. They had my grandmother waiting forever to help her use the bathroom.

This place should be shut down. My mother in law has been there for 10 days at this point and there havent been a single day without a problem. Finally a day ago she fell during the night. They called me to let me know but guess what has been done to prevent her from falling again by the time I came , NOTHING! She still hasnt had a means to call someone if she needs anything and no proper assessment has been done, they just asked her if she had any pain thats it. Why bother? She is only 85 years old and fragile as a glass who cares if she has a fracture certainly not a medical staff, right? Me and my husband get to the rehab and asked to get someone to be with her at all times. No, that cant be done the nurse has to call the director. 40 minutes lates I get to talk to the director and she is telling me that they will monitor my mother in law every hour and will put an alarm pad under her . Mind you at this point were at the rehab for an hour and a half and finally a pad comes to place. I asked to talk to the doctor, wait for another hour only to find out that the nurse talked to the director and been told not to call doctor because they cant afford to have one on one for my mother in law. My husband insisted on talking to the physician on call . Still no proper assessment done after the fall. We are at the rehab for 3.5 hours at that point and no one again NO ONE came to check on my mother in law . Which means they dont care and they LIE to you whenever they promise anything. I go home to cook something because food there is awful too , not just the staff and administrators, I come back to let my husband go and at this point my mother in law gets an old fashioned bell to call for help. OLD FASHIONED BELL!!! Do you think they can hear it? You guessed right, NO. Now let me tell you what happened next, every time she moves in the bed alarm pad sounds and she wakes up . If alarm sounds too long she get yelled at for waking everyone up. And can you guess if the bell worked? NOPE. When she states moving around to get help nobody comes even with the freaking alarm. She was on the phone with me this morning for 20 minutes and nobody , again NOBODY came until I called nursing station. And if I wouldnt be on the speakerphone with her they wouldve left without giving her anything again. To say that Im appalled by this treatment of the patient is to say nothing. I will be contacting Department of Public Health first thing in the morning tomorrow as soon as they are open and a lawyer for the case of elderly abuse and neglect at the medical facility.
