United Planet Organization

I traveled with United Planet this past May to Rome, Italy and had a great experience! The founder, Dave, traveled with us and made sure every aspect of the trip and our service was well planned and prepared. Our on the ground supports, Elissa, Lieke, Shiva, and others were all so kind and helpful. I am so glad to have had the chance to experience local Roman communities and meet such genuine and interesting people through our service activities!

Surprisingly disorganized. I had multiple people emailing me after I contacted them regarding volunteering, I met the criteria for volunteering and replied, but then never heard from any of them again. Their Eastern European programs seem quite overpriced and I would be concerned that their disorganized email correspondence would reflect their project organization and scheduling.

I volunteered in Peru with United Planet and had such an amazing experience! I strongly recommend looking at the programs that United Planet offers, if you're interested in volunteering abroad.

It was a great virtual volunteer experience! I enhanced my soft skills and broadened my global mindset. Can't wait to do the virtual and in-person volunteer abroad again!
