While both Melony and Kelsie were wonderful to work with individually, their real strength was the entire Good Boston Living team. Our experience working with Melony and her team to find our perfect home was outstanding! She is reliable, supportive, responsive, and very knowledgeable all the steps of the way. In addition, her advice and recommendations (from lenders, lawyers, to house inspectors) are excellent. Specifically, she correctly evaluated the value of the house we were interested in; she negotiated with the seller very efficiently, and we got about our dream home for 50k less than the price asked. My wife and I were referred to Melony and Kelsie Evans of Good Boston Living through a colleague and our experience did not disappoint. This dynamic duo as we called them went above and beyond in support our needs as first-time homebuyers. They not only provide you with a thorough and comprehensive overview of the homebuying process, but they also work with your schedule to determine where and how to proceed. We were fortunate that a condo unit came on the market in a great part of the City and Melony and Kelsie helped us swoop in with an unbeatable offer that secured the unit. They then worked with us to connect us to a lawyer who worked diligently with us up and through closing. All the time, Melony and Kelsie were checking in on us and helping us with direct questions as well as questions we were able to direct elsewhere. Even after closing, they gave us a call to see how everything was going and gave us some great recommendations to help tidy up our new home before moving in. Melony and Kelsie were beyond outstanding. Aside from knowing the market well, they are so knowledgeable about homes in general: what to look for, how things do or don't work, red/green flags, and how that all plays into buying a home. They also GET you and take the time to know you and your housing journey, adapting to it no matter how complex it is. With that knowledge, they really help guide you to where you want to go and need to be in finding your perfect home, and are also not afraid to ask (kindly!) hard questions to get you there. They were able to get me in first to see my dream home that went on the market unexpectedly and under the radar, quickly strategize a strong offer, and do all the things that you need great realtors to do to get you your home. We had a great experience working with Melony and Kelsie to buy and sell a home in July/August 2023. This is our second time working with Melony and our first time selling. We worked with her for the second time because she was that good the first time around. With Kelsie on board we felt we were backed by an incredible team of supporters, connectors, advocates and experts. It's clear that they both know their business inside and out and are able to bring in assuredness and confidence with them. That helped set us - nervous buyers and sellers at ease. They ask questions and seem to really revel in truly understanding everything we care about and need. Watching them work together is very impressive. They move as one. They almost finish each other's sentences so it's clear that they have a very tight relationship. Melony and Kelsie are fun to work with and they do their jobs well. What more could you want? We absolutely recommend Melony and Kelsie to anyone who's looking to buy or sell in the greater Boston area. They know this market like the back of their hands.
