Double Chin Modern Asian Restaurant

1. Mandatory 20% tip without prior communication. We (party of 2) went for dinner at 7pm, and a 20% tip was added to the check. I saw that the menu did mention "20% gratuity charge automatically applied to all parties of 6+ or after 12am", however we were not a party of 6+ and we didn't go after 12am. The server then explained that the 12am should be 12pm, which sounds ridiculous to me. The restaurant does open past midnight on weekends, so I believe the menu should mean 12am. Why did the server insist that the 12am should be 12pm? Just for charging the mandatory 20% tip at their will? 2. As a first-generation immigrant born in China, I don't like the food at all. Maybe it's for American-born customers.

The reason we visited this place was the nice cocktail menu. There was a group of people who were pretty drunk when they came to this place and one person among them was clearly sick and nauseous, we were seated by the door and saw him run out about twice. The third time we saw them, the management evicted them from the restaurant. Shortly after this one of the employees came to us and said we had to pay a 100$ bill because our friend had puked and they needed to charge a sanitization fee. He first told that Im sure it was your friend we saw the camera. First of all, WHY DO YOU HAVE A CAMERA IN THE RESTROOM. Secondly if they did, we asked to see the footage because out friend was clearly okay and drank nothing but a glass of wine. The employee immediately told were still checking the footage Im just saying it as a precaution, I KNOW you guys didnt do it. In my eyes, it clearly felt like they tried to take advantage by ASSUMING we were drunk. This was not all, man spoke so much about sanitization and then literally threw a cigarette butt right in front of us while we were waiting to get a cab in the restaurant passage. Honestly, even the food wasnt that great and they had a default tip of 20% for such terrible service. Attached are the pictures of the restaurant hallway and the cigarette butt he threw
