I really wished that google would let me give them a -5 star review on this one.
Last Wed 11/8, I took my cousin who was visiting from overseas and wanted to treat him to lunch on his last day in Boston. Since I work in downtown Boston on Wednesdays, I took my cousin with me, I was hoping that he would go for a clam chowder or a lobster roll, but he chose Chinese food, we love Chinese food. We both ordered our plates and at the time of payment he said he wanted to treat me so he pulled out his phone and did "tap-to-pay", there was only one lady working at the line, with the very little English she spoke she said that the payment didn't go through and showed us the screen on her system, but my cousin got a text message saying that the payment did go through, long story short, we tried to communicate with her and we weren't going anywhere, so I told her I would pay.
I have been calling the phone posted on google, and get no answers, yesterday, 11/15, I went again to see if I could talk to someone else, there were two ladies this time who seemed like they wanted to help, but in the end they told me to come back on Friday, I told them that I don't live in Boston and that I only come in on Wed, she shrug her shoulders and that was the end of the conversation.
I called my bank today to submit a dispute, we'll see where that goes.
