If youre looking for a fancy hotel this is not the one for you but if youre looking for a cheap stay (free parking) in a great area to do things on foot came to crash on my 21st just needed something in a good area not too expensive everyone was super nice and helpful for a big building that shared it was very quite for a Friday night if you get a single room bathrooms and kitchen is shared and its a older building but thats the city! Clean, quite and respectful for the price its a great deal! Nearby activities: Went to DLY hot pot for dinner service was great they will be getting their own review lol definitely recommend for first time hot pot place!

This is a basic hostelry; quite good value for the money, and conveniently located. It is somewhat Spartan: there's only one bathroom per floor (which usually wasn't an issue but can become one), and my room didn't have enough working outlets, so I even had to rearrange some furniture so that I could plug in essentials like my phone charger and laptop. Rooms: See above Safety: The area seems safe enough; lots of shops and restaurants, always ppl out and about. Walkability: V walkable area; many bus and trolley lines stop nearby.

One of the cheapest place to stay close to Boston. The shared bathroom is a bother, but the place is stay-able, and service is great and friendly. Location is great! Lots of public transportation. We recommend it! Walkability: Lots of places to eat/shop around

I walked in and immediately walked out... It looked like a trap house and the environment felt very unnerving and eerie. I wish I was exaggerating but unfortunately I am not. I would not stay in a place like this at all.

The Farrington Inn is a true definition of HELL. The rooms are very dirty, with toilets reminiscent of a 1880s motel or an African Village Guest house in the 1950s. The carpets are dusty, there are bedbugs present, and the bedsheets are so unclean that I had to use my own to cover myself entirely. The rooms resemble jail cells. I was sleeping with my room door locked from the inside when, around 4 am, my locked door was opened with a key by an unknown individual from outside. Startled, I screamed, thinking it was a terrible nightmare. Inside my room was a white man who apologized and quickly fled. My screams attracted an elderly hotel staff member who came to my rescue. This incident was a failed room invasion. If I had not been present, or if I hadn't screamed loudly, or if I had been heavily intoxicated and fast asleep, the intruder with a spare key could have stolen all of my belongings, including my bags, laptop, iPad, and two iPhones (14 & 15). I am unsure which authority oversees hotel services in Boston, MA. The Farrington Inn should have been shut down long ago. It poses a risk to people's lives, security, and health due to the spread of bedbugs...
