I currently attend the Moving Ahead Program(MAP) here, and I can already feel the positive change in my life taking place. The staff here are amazing and very knowledgeable about helping people like me(a felon) turn their life around. I definitely recommend this program to anyone who has been to prison and is determined to become a productive member of society.

They have good staff here. They help people with all sorts of things including cooked meals and job search. I also heard that they provide accommodation for people in need. St Francis house just serves to show that God is still working in our community. Downside is that is that some the the plates patrons eat from are dirty.

This is really a 5 star because there is no place that's gonna put up with what walks through the doors day in and day out as the staff in this DAY shelter has to deal with. They can deal with the rich and famous as well but they are the wealth that keeps the health. As anyone who enters the doors how grateful they are to have someplace to go after a night of sleep in the streets to staying up all night in a night shelter and they will tell you that Saint Francis is the right place to be. 25% of the work the staff does is exactly what 50% of what state workers should be doing as case managers in the state system. These men and women work so hard to help every guess that is suffering from poverty level problems. They put long hours in to help those in need and the truth is every guest has to put the100% in fr their end to accomplish the hard truth and work. Breakfast and lunch are provided and 365 days this establishment is open 6:30 am to 2:30.. there are great days and some days are harder but again what you put into the day is what you get out of the day. This isn't a store you can't pick and choose the levels of kindness and donations that are given as resources to help the less fortunate. My suggestion is to utilize the resources that they offer as you learn to gain confidence in asking for help. Don't be shy and don't be a burden of bad attitude. The best is this the establishment is truly the one establishment that understands Human Rights..
