BSW Beauty - Roslindale

I visited the store many times mainly for extensions so luckily never really needed assistance. The first time I asked for assistance I was looking at various wigs. I obviously was planning on buying a few. I didnt need to try them on. First the person who assisted me told me pretty much what you see on the floor figure out which ones you want then let me. I asked it would be easier I could give her a short list of the few or more I would like to see if they had in the color I wanted. I was told No as it would keep them busy so no so she rather go one by one I had to keep walking back and forth to show her the next one. My thing is youre at work you chose this job, yes they idea is to stay busy thats why its a business. The reality the only good customer service I had ever recvd there was by a gentleman who I believe is a manager. The rest must just be there for the discount. I honestly preferred to just go a little farther and back to the usual beauty supplies. The customer service is eyes rolling even when paying its like I dont know if even want to give you my money sorry I making you work at work

This location gets a 1 star. The owner/supervisors are allowing employees to work with hair bonnets on, while interacting with customers. Wow, so unprofessional, and it shows the lack of respect for the community. For a second, I couldnt tell if they were an employee or a customer until one girl went to the cash register and said, next in line.

Big store, lots of products, that's the good part. The alarming part, and yes it is a very BIG deal, is the inappropriate music. We bring our children here when shopping and the music is extremely sexual and inappropriate for children. That is very unprofessional and I will be reaching out to the store directly to call for regulation on this matter. Update, I changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star. Just walked in with my 3 year old daughter, thought they would have made changes, I was wrong. Started shopping and the music was intolerably inappropriate. I put the items back on the shelf and left immediately. Absolute nonsense, but it makes sense that they cater to the theives and the ratchet. For the black people with class and self respect, check out KiKis, they have multiple locations near by, most of the same products, better prices and professional, they don't play trashy insulting music while you shop. Came in and something on me beeped Haitian at the door ask to take my purse. I did not have anything that could beep on me so if your machine is bad please do not stop me and harass me. I was embarrassed and I had went to grab a few things once he started walking with me I left. These people are very odd in this dollar store.
