I walked in with hair well below my shoulders (including the front around my face) and asked for a trim being mindful of keeping the length as much as possible, was told they would only cut off around an inch and lift the layers a little for volume. I had zero framing or tapering around my face. I have almost a fringe now that falls on my face. Way more was cut, to the point that now when I tie a pony tailhair falls out. The product used on my hair left flakes and I was told we're all done while my hair was still half damp and the product clumpy. I immediately went home to wash it out and hope it would look better. Overall, not great. The stylist was nice but I did not receive what I asked for and feel like this is a big change from just "trimming". Please be clear with your clients exactly what you're going to dowe don't have the everyday experience and/or knowledge to give precise details like don't frame my face if it isn't framed. I thought I was being clear enough in saying all I wanted was a trim to get rid of the ends that were not happy. This is a totally different look with hair that barely covers my face now and will take a while to even out the length that was around my face. I'm including a photo from last week (to show the original length of my hair) and the resulting haircut.

Got several services done here on multiple occasions (haircut, color, facial), and each time I had a good experience. The staff is really nice! What I like most about this place is that one feels welcome and accepted however they are. I didnt feel judged at any time (happened at other salons), or rushed, or talked at without my participation. I also like that the staff have varying levels of expertise. So if you want the best service you go for the best, but if you want a more economical service you opt for someone who is still building their full skillset. And the front desk are great and the notifications system works as intended. In short: I prefer this salon over other places, and I would gladly recommend it to other people. Always enjoy my haircuts here. As someone who really doesn't understand their hair, the advice and guidance on how to work with it has been fantastic.
