Santander Bank Branch

Honestly don't even know why this branch is open. These employees do whatever they can to NOT help their customers. I work for a local restaurant, with accounts at Santander, and the employees in this branch almost refuse to do business with us (ie, make us change) to the point where I tried to open a personal account AND WAS REFUSED. WHAT BANK REFUSES PEOPLE TO OPEN CHECKING/SAVINGS ACCOUNT?! It's literally the point of a bank. The management here, and all the staff should be terminated.

This branch is awful. Every time I stop in to conduct business it gets complicated. The manager always has excuses about why he can't help. On multible occasions he's me to come back because he has to run out. I'm shocked Santander is shutting the branch on Hanover st down, but leaving this one open. At least the one on Hanover street understands customer service I wont ever stop in this branch again

The management and staff at the Causeway branch are completely incompetent and unable to perform the basic duties of their job. I attempted to open a checking account in-person and was told it could only be done with an appointment. Great - I leave my details and expect a call to schedule an appointment. After two weeks, still no call - so I go in and talk with the same employees. I get the same story, sorry we cant help you, youll need to make an appointment with our manager. Another month goes by and I hear nothing. Im glad I learned up front how Santander treats potential customers, and I made the easy decision to open an account with Citizens. The management at this location should be fired and the staff should be trained on basic customer service. Reporting this branch to the BBB. Im not angry, I just feel that my time has been wasted.
