Sukha Yoga

Just like her reviews already state, Emmie is an outstanding yoga teacher and practitioner. Her classes challenge me in positive way. Each class is varied so I am never bored with repetition. I find that when she corrects my pose, I immediately feel the difference with the strength of being correctly aligned . I love how Emmie incorporates each season reflecting on the physical environment affecting us. Emmie listens to her students and thoughtfully responds. She is a gem among yoga professionals and as a person!

Emmie has been an outstanding teacher - she has successfully taught me skills and methods to deal with all types of challenging situations both in personal and professional life. I believe anyone who chooses to work with Emmie will certainly stand to gain.

I have been extremely blessed to cross paths with Emmie and I have been working with her one on one every week for almost 2 years now! I was referred to Emmie in the fall of 2017 after I had been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and borderline personality disorder. I was extremely out of balance, disconnected and unhappy day in and day out. I knew I couldnt go on experiencing life like that, nor did I want to. Every ounce of me was fed up and I realized I had a choice to make. I could do nothing and keep experiencing life as I was, orI could take a huge leap into the unknown and start working on self-growth. This is when I met Emmie and my entire life changed in ways I could have never imagined possible. Emmie is an incredible human being, through and through. Emmie is the best. I consider myself having the most inflexible of bodies. I always feel like a new woman after her gentle yoga class. She uses language that is forgiving, affirming and laced with acceptance. Emmie's knowledge of healing is beyond compare in my estimation. I gave my pregnant daughter a gift certificate for a treatment session. She went on to have a natural childbirth experience. I can't help but attribute her success due to Emmie's preparation. Our community is blessed to be able to benefit from her services.
