Lord's dry cleaner is the best dry cleaner I've ever been to. Reasonable prices, friendly service, clean laundry, perfect ironing, and punctuality. I highly recommended this place to everyone.

Turned Away because I couldn't pay upfront for future dry cleaning servicesLords may do great cleaning but I wouldn't call them good neighbors. I pass Lords on my daily walks so decided to try their neighborhood business instead of driving to my regular cleaner. So today I gathered several sweaters and walked up there in the snow, only to learn that customers must pay for their services in advance!  I generally don't carry $ on my walks and have never encountered this policy at a cleaners (and I'm a retiree who has been to many). Instead of dropping off my clothes, and perhaps becoming a new customer, I had to carry them right back home.Regular customers may be used to their very *unusual* policy and trust them to care for their garments, but I bet I'm not the first person they have turned away because they were unprepared to pay up front. I was told that this hasn't always been their policy but I don't know when it began.

Our building has closed the laundry room here at Parkside Place for 8-10;weeks.. I have decided to go to Lord's Cleaners for my laundry needs. Friendly staff. Actually they do excellent seamstress work.
