Dental hygienist need to be patient communicating and accommodating before cleansing procedure. The work is fine. We didn't go through rinsing this time.

If I could give a negative review I would. My dental hygienist Val is the ONLY good thing about this place. My ortho experience with Gental Dental (I am doing Invisalign) has been nothing but a huge headache. I have been bounced around from two separate locations (Arlington and Belmont) with little to no explanation as to why, other than I had to follow my doctor, who for some reason kept being moved. Both locations were close to my home so that wasnt a big of an inconvenience; except for the fact that they kept losing my records, and my doctor mysteriously disappeared and now I have a new one. Each appointment was an ordeal as they were unable to locate my records or my aligners. And that is if they even kept my originally scheduled appointment. My appointments are regularly canceled with less than a 5 hour notice and again with no explanation. How is that professional? They require their patients to provide 24-hour notice of any cancellations, why do they not extend this same courtesy to their patients? In addition to not providing notice for cancelled appointments, theyll sometimes keep appointments and just not provide any type of service. I was supposed to be finished with my Invisalign treatments back in November, but the first round did not achieve the desired result so I elected to do another round, this was no problem for me. I got my teeth rescanned and they made me an appointment for January to start the new treatment. I show up in January, aligners arent in, so I couldnt move forward. Couldnt call me to tell me that, rather than have me take time off of work for nothing? A new appointment is made for March, I show up, AGAIN NO ALIGNERS AND NO PHONE CALL??? New appointment made for April and I am told that they will expedite my aligners (pretty hard to believe anything they say at this point). I have now been waiting 4 months, for any sort of progress from them. Meanwhile I have no treatment plan, I dont know how many aligners I am getting nor do I know my new estimated cost! Who is running this company because clearly no one has any idea what they are doing. And to top all of this off, they just somehow lost $1,400 I paid them for treatment!! At my last appointment I was told that my balance was way past due and I have not made any payments towards my aligners since starting. I immediately pull up my bank records (thank God for mobile banking) to show that was extremely false. Eventually they found my payments but the experience was appalling. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I WILL be switching to another practice once this is over. And if I wasnt in the middle of this treatment I would switch to another orthodontist immediately.
