    Family tree and home is a company that everyone should STAY FAR AWAY FROM. They were late to our scheduled appointment and blamed it on family reasons, went on to give a quote for over 3 grand for one thing that Lowes completed for under 150$.

    Nice guy but strung us along for a couple months. Came out, late, and took measurements. Calls the following week saying has to come back out because the measurements were lost. Rescheduled. I called him 30 minutes after appointment time and he forgot and Rescheduled. Repeat of the same situation, call after 30 minutes, you forgot. Rescheduled again. Received a call saying that he's stuck on an important estimate... Obviously more important than us. "He'll understand if you need to find a different contractor." Dude, just nut up and run your business. You're no longer interested in making the house handicap accessible for my disabled wife. Ultimately, just too nice/ (cowardly?) to say "I'm too busy to do your job, go find someone else." Now, we've lost a couple months of lead time starting the process all over again. Points for nice, though.

    Messaged Family Tree and Home on Facebook to have them come out and replace a fascia board. After multiple failed communications and an apology from the operator of the facebook page, I was told that I would be called to schedule an appointment. I explained in my messages and during our call that I was looking to have a fascia board replaced, and if that went well, that would would like them to demo two apartment units at the same property. They agreed, and we scheduled a date two weeks out. Long time out to schedule an estimate, but hey, I get everyone is busy, no biggie. Today, 2 hours before our estimate appointment (and hours after I confirm my appointment with them), Nick calls me to tell me he's too busy to come out to do the fascia board estimate, and that he's not interested in the apartment demo work either; calling it "a carrot being dangled in front of him". Sorry, but there's no carrot being dangled. At the time of this review, Family Tree and Home has 10 reviews and a 3.7 star rating on Google. Trust is earned, not assumed. I did not ask for a "deal" on either job. I was happy to pay fair market rate for the work completed. If the work was done well, there would be more. That's simple business. If the job was too small from the beginning, Nick could have spared all of us the hassle by just saying such at the beginning. No customer does repeat work with poor service providers, that goes without saying. Thank you for saving me future headache by showing the (lack of) professionalism that you operate with from the very beginning.
