I want to say that this Pharmacy has went downhill since the last owner had it , when it was located on Conococheague Street a few years before. The other owner showed compassion for patrons. That's not the case anymore. His Employees have been, short, rude and must be trained to act just like him, the owner. I am on, approximately 15 meds, that I have over the last 40 years that I've lived in Williamsport. I already moved my wife's medicine to another pharmacy. I will do the same with my daughters also, as soon as she has her next appointment. I've still used the drive through window because it was convenient when I was Ill but Wal Greens has the same convenience without all of the rudeness. I left this pharmacy years ago because of another employee that treated us rude. I came back at the new location and have used it for a few prescriptions, antibiotics that were faxed from Doctor. It's not worth it. This owner has the Clear Spring pharmacy too. It's just as bad. I also have picked up prescriptions at Clear Spring for an elderly relative, it's the same up there, plus when they deliver to her, they say it's a free service but they make you feel like they need a tip. I have never had anything delivered but my mother in law has. These owners and employees need to realize that pretty much all medicines can be sent from , Walgreens, Express Scripts and CVS, delivered in the mail to your DOOR, at your house without the hassle. Well the problem I had the other day, which is the final time I will ever use this Williamsport facility, which has lost the feeling for caring for any people. I thought they could help me since I just came from the Emergency room, after 8 hrs in at Meritus. I drove myself, was going to go by ambulance, I didn't take any credit cards and I wanted get home as quickly as possible so I gave them the prescription but it was just an over the counter medication. After knowing me for 40 years worth of business, they couldn't allow me to put it on a ticket that I could stop back down later with the money. The man , with the hair bun , at the drive through, said, "Do you think I'm just going to give you this, he told me. Even after I explained about what I went through. The amount was $ 3.06 and I would be down later or tomorrow. They acted like I wanted a handout but all I wanted was to pick it up on credit and go home and rest for the night, after 40 years in this town, come on. I've never seen such an unfriendly bunch of people at this supposed "Good Neighbor Pharmacy" which is Williamsport Pharmacy. They wouldn't allow me talk to the owner but after pulling out I called and they put him on. HE IS DEFINITELY NOT LIKE THE PREVIOUS OWNER FOR ANY COMPASSION AT ALL. After knowing someone for that many years, have some compassion for people. So I went up to my house, asked my neighbor to go down and get it for me , he did. It was $ 3.06 . Ok I wrote my neighbor a check for $ 20.00 for his kindness because this business has lost there personal touch when they changed ownership years ago. Anyway I wouldn't go to this Establishment, when there are so many others where you don't put up with things like this. DEFINITELY NOT LIKE THE PREVIOUS OWNER WOULD HAVE DONE, DEFINITELY NOT. HE HAD A HEART OF GOLD FOR CARING FOR PATRONS. I've known both owners for many years . Wake-up, if you have the option get it sent through an online pharmacy, it's even cheaper with a 3 month prescription. Inquiring about this to your doctor. If you need a neighbor to pick something up , ask them to go to Hagerstown at Walgreens or CVS , I'm sure you'll get more caring people that live beside you than you would at this pharmacy. TAKE A STAND AND CHANGE PHARMACY'S. I'm not certain but I want to see if this business was given any Grants by the Town of Williamsport to do there building, Awnings , shrubs etc... since it's in the Historic District . I would like to clarify if any grants were given to them. Free money......etc. Please think about the compassion that the previous owner had for his PATRONS. Thank you . Fred
