        Ive been a patient of Dr. Dapice for years and Ive never been disappointed. The office is quiet, clean and very comforting. Ive referred my husband and my sister. I find Dr. Dapice to be very knowledgeable, through, professional and patient. So if youre looking for a great dentist in Waldorf Md, see Dr. Dapice. Oh and his assistant Misty is always on point.

        I don't normally post reviews of a business unless I am certain that I was taken advantage of. This business is one of them. I am reposting because unfortunately in Dr. Ronald Dapice's response to my initial review (The Professional), he does not want to be honest, and try to validate keeping the funds he overcharged me for. If it was clear and stressed that what I paid out of pocket would not be covered by my insurance company, I would not have agreed to move forward at all. After a throrough conversation with a supervisor at Cigna, how you went about giving me an estimate and billing me is not illegal, it is certainly not fair or ethical in any capacity. I see that after my initial review you went ahead and got back on Cigna so it doesn't look suspicious (good job). I was also told how to pursue this case further. I'm not certain of the validity of other reviews here but I will make sure Dr. Dapice that you use ethical practices in how you charge patients in the future so I am the last person you play with to charge the most amount of money possible and justify getting away with it. I have enough evidence and paperwork that proves my case. UPDATE: After a conversation with the Maryland State Dental Association to mediate this situation, it was met with aggression and anger from Dr. Dapice. A write up is being made. Your professionalism is very much to be in question at this juncture Dr. Dapice. I will be proceeding to further legal injunction solely on general principle.

      Dear Mr. Edwards. I am sorry your experience here wasn't what you had expected, but to be fair lets state a few facts. For someone who doesn't normally post reviews you had posted 3 here stating the same thing. You purchased a battery operated brush that was necessary for your treatment. The brush was in perfect working order and the cost was the same to you as all my other patients. For hygienic purposes the brush can't be returned. After you had received and used the brush you went online and found the same brush for cheaper. Now you believe that i am unprofessional and/or unethical because I will not give you money in return. The reality is that I am just like any other dentist/business, and I am free to make a fair profit on the goods and services that I provide. After discussing and trying to resolve the issue with both your insurance company and the dental society, it was concluded that I treated you fairly and professionally, and no action was necessary on my part. I am again sorry you are unhappy. It is what it is.
