Klapper Harry J DDS

I have been to many dentist in my life. This is one of the the worst one I've ever seen. The staff in the Largo office is so disfuntional. They have no respect for the dentist, or the patients.  Dr klapper, don't know what the hell he's doing. I have the worst bridge ever made, and paid $7000.00 for it. Now I'm looking at $10,000, to replace it. He needs continuing education and needs to have a hygienist.Please DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST.

This place is horrible.  The front office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, especially Allison at the Crain Highway Office.  I don't understand how Dr. Klapper keeps them employed- I partially blame him.  There is no reason for his staff to act the way they do.  It is terrible.  My brother had an appointment scheduled for 12:30 today, we drive all the way there and we are told by Allison that he doesn't have an appointment and can't be seen.  I just spoke with her last Thursday and scheduled the appointment.  Why would we drive all the way there for nothing?  They obviously aren't organized and she did not make any accommodations for us.  Just totally rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. A total waste of time.  During a previous appointment at the largo office my brother had a 10-minute teeth cleaning/exam.  He literally was done in 10 minutes.  Who does a 10-minute teeth cleaning/exam?  I have never heard of such.  That makes no sense and there is no way that can be a thorough job at all.  There were no x-rays, nothing, just a rushed job.  It definitely was not a thorough exam.  I would not recommend this place to anyone.   Dr. Klapper needs to fire Allison immediately as she and the other staff are a very poor reflection on his business.  My family and I will not be patronizing this business anymore.  It is deplorable!

I'm sorry about the other reviewers experience but mine was the complete opposite. I had a deep scale cleaning which we actually broke into 4 appointments. He did an awesome job. His secretary at the front desk is extremely professional and courteous. Dental assistant is too. He has a great bedside manner as I'm always scared to go to the dentist. But his gentle nature always puts me at ease. I'm been going here for about 4 years. He was recommended by a friend and I really like him.

Terrible experience with this office.  Hard to get follow up appointments, front desk staff extremely rude and mean, after 2 visits for a root canal, continued in pain and required a redo root canal at another practice.  For Endodontic needs- do not go here!  I really wish there was a way to report the ladies who run the front desk at both office locations- expecially his Largo office.  Very mean and condescending.  She basically told me there was "no way that I was still experiencing pain and they could not give me pain medication because it was against ADA guidelines or be seen until  Monday"  (I had called Friday morning).   It turns out there was still root left in the tooth!  and it was infected on top of that.    I went for a redo root canal at another practice and was treated completely different.  and I am starting to feel a decrease in the pain.  This office did provide me with pain medication, thank goodness.
