Comptroller of Maryland

I came to Comptroller at Towson branch, in need of understanding and help with my taxes, and guess what? it was my lucky day to be taken by a gentleman named Mr Jos, the most helpful man in the whole office. He did all his best to explain my situation and then suggested me solutions to fix issues i got with my taxes. He made sure i'm not worried. Thanks again Mr Jos !

Front desk lady is rude af. Definitely needs to work on her attitude and how she speaks to people. Kept cutting me off and said she cant do anything. Not a productive 40 second conversation at all.

Wasn't sure what to expect after initially arriving and not seeing anyone at the front desk to sign you in. Two other people waiting said you just had to wait for someone to come out and tell them what you need. Keeping the story short, the gentleman who eventually helped me after about a 30 minute wait was EXTREMELY helpful in assisting me with a tricky problem involving a POA and a loved one who hadn't filed taxes in nine years. I walked out with the information I had gone for, as well as instructions for how to make filing go smoother moving forward. Couldn't be happier.

Tag renewel time and low and behold a flag for tax issues from 2009 OMGGG !!!! long story short...It was hard getting anyone on the phone to help me with this problem so I decided to drive to the Towson location to get face to face help...It was a absolute terrific experience from the moment i walked in with the really nice front desk lady then I ended up with "Jose" who really helped by being my advocate and speaking with the collections lady (Christine) who resolved my problem by caring for my concerns with kindness and compassion.I am beyond blessed and truly grateful to everyone at the comptrollers office who assisted me today !!!!
