image Rooms were very clean. Hot water was fast to turn on. The crab cakes at the restaurant in hotel was mouth watering flavorful and had huge portions of crab, very worth it. The morning breakfast was worth it, had your usual egg, bacon, sausages, cereal and fruits etc. Every personnel there was very nice and such a delight.
Across the hotel is the mall, very short walking distance. I will definitely return here when I come back!!

image This hotel is falling apart. At a glance, much of the hotel is well appointed, but a stay here reveals widespread failings. I was here with a group for a wedding, one of whom had to switch rooms 3 times upon arrival, because the toilet was broken in the first two. I also had a $120 dress shirt ruined by the provided clothes iron, which shot rust out of the steamer holes when used (front desk did not care). I could not exit my room without using my card key...they only way to close the door was to scan the card key for 'entry', and then turn the handle to retract the latching mechanism. It was impossible to fully turn off my shower, so it just dripped for the duration of our 3 day stay. Also in the shower, the shampoo/conditioner bottles had been ripped off their wall brackets and left unrepaired, sitting on the shower floor that way...with the mounting hardware still attached. The hardware for the sinks was damaged and asymmetrical. The hot tub has been bricked off, and we were told the murky-looking pool would soon be bricked off too. I could go on, but it would be more of the same theme.

image We stayed at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel for our daughter's wedding nearby. We contracted for a room block more than 6 months prior to the wedding. Initially we worked with John H and were then transferred to Erin as our contact. Unfortunately, some of the important details weren't communicated in this transfer. When we checked in, the bride wasn't given an adjoining room with her bridal party on the club level as promised. The only adjoining rooms were on the 3rd floor which was very disappointing. We also booked the Parlor Lounge to use as a hospitality suite for out of town guests in our party. There was another wedding party at the hotel and they used the Club Lounge to host their guests (which is against the rules). Erin sent me an ugly email during my daughter's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner asking me to remove my group from the Club Lounge. It became very evident that she didn't even know which group was using which spaces. I responded to her email but never received a follow up email from her. On the positive side, the front desk staff is AMAZING! But they are very disadvantaged when the sales staff doesn't provide them with the information that they need to do their job correctly. A great facility but the sales staff needs to get more organized for events/groups.
