I recently concluded my professional relationship with Admit Advantage, where I served as a consultant. With a robust academic background and significant positions in prestigious universities, I expected a level of professionalism that aligns with my experience. Unfortunately, my time there was overshadowed by several concerning issues.
One of the most striking aspects of my experience was the apparent disconnect in communication styles. Despite my extensive academic credentials and professional stature, the interactions with some of the staff at Admit Advantage were disappointingly casual and lacked the professional decorum one would expect in such a setting. The manner of communication often felt more suited to informal conversations than to a professional environment involving a consultant of high academic and executive standing.
Furthermore, it became increasingly clear that there was a lack of understanding and respect for the level of expertise and professionalism required in academic consulting. This was evident not only in the tone of communication but also in the general approach to managing relationships with consultants who bring significant academic knowledge and experience.
In summary, while Admit Advantage provides opportunities for academic consulting, my personal experience was marred by a lack of professional communication and a failure to recognize and respect the level of expertise brought by a consultant with a strong academic background. This review is shared in the hope of providing a candid perspective to those considering engaging with Admit Advantage, either as clients or consultants.
