As a new homeowner, I was desperate for a contractor who would provide competent, timely services at a reasonable price and in Dave Barclay and Barclay Construction I found the trusted advisor, consummate professional, and hard working talented team that I was looking for! I contacted Dave after seeing the great work they did for the dentist over on Russell Ave. I told him I had a few small projects - some interior drywall work, a rotting back exterior stair in need of TLC, and a broken fence. Dave came out and had a look and offered an extremely fair price. They fit me in in a timely fashion and made me feel like my work was a priority. He also offered advice and suggestions on future projects without trying to press me into doing them now. The team that did the work were incredibly kind and professional and cleaned up after themselves. Communication was great before and throughout. Also, Dave is a really nice guy, in addition to delivering great work at a great price, which makes the whole experience so much better. I will be calling on Dave and the Barclay Construction team for years to come. Thank you!!!!!

Dave and his crew were great to work with as they were respectful, courteous, and nice. I had a long list of projects - new windows, doors, parging, attic work, and more. He worked with me on the timing of things to fit my schedule and providing quality work for a good value. He communicated the process really well, walking me through the steps and what to expect. Will definitely be using Barclay Construction again for a few other projects, including my upcoming kitchen renovation!

I was in need of some major renovations and maintenance work on the outside of my dental office, which is contained within a historic 1892 Victorian House in Gaithersburg. The project included replacing rotting posts, railing and decking on our front porch as well as work to our handicap ramp, driveway, windows, back deck and a whole host of miscellaneous projects. Dave Barclay and his crew were outstanding. They performed high quality work for a very fair price and value. Our project foreman and carpenter, Randy, was exceptional and a true craftsman. I can recommend Barclay Construction without hesitation.

80 foot oak fell on our roof, cracked the center beam. We had trouble finding someone who would take the repair on until we were referred to Barclay. Dave came out on a Sunday to check it out and give us a very reasonable estimate. His carpenters figured out a tricky fix, and finished the job quickly. Very impressed with the quick response, quality of work, and professional response! Would highly recommend to anyone.

We didn’t know what we wanted for a new walkway and landscaping wall. But Dave gave us what we needed and made the area out as nice and sturdy as it looks. Please as punch with Dave’s ideas and his crew. Looking forward to the next project we need done. Thanks Dave
