Imperial Gown Restoration Co

Used this service many years ago to preserve my wedding gown. Upon opening the box- it clearly was never cleaned properly. no stain removal was done. They basically just sealed it into a box. Do not recommend.

We shipped our dress to Imperial Gown and Steven Saidman (owner) before reading reviews unfortunately. After getting a quote (free and no commitment quote per Steven) for a pretty high price - we informed him we needed to think about it, then told him we would do it. He then fell off the face of the earth. We went THREE months with him ignoring calls, emails and texts. We contacted the local news and consumer protection. Thankfully he contacted us before we had to go further and he agreed to ship the dress back (in the same packaging we sent it to him 4 months prior). Consumer Protection knew him by name the minute we called them. Google him & his public records - there is nothing but bad news and you will not want to do business with him. Guaranteed. Check out a news story about him and this same scenario with someone else, the news covered it. Do not do business with this man. Do your research. Service: Cleaning

This Company is run by Steven Saidman and he has what we call now, stolen our dress. His deceitful practices are no doubt evil. He lies impulsively and god know what he may have done/doing to our dress. He claims that we have not paid for the services and therefore does not send the dress back but after multiple and I mean MULTIPLE Emails and Texts and Calls he avoids us at all costs and claims that our card does not go through in the transaction. Nice try buddy the bank would have told us if you attempted to make a charge. We gave him the benefit of the doubt but now we perused a claim to the Attorney Generals office In Maryland where he refused to mediate with. We are now exploring other options and will file a police report for what is now stolen property. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR DRESS BACK.
