Great dental care with prompt appointments. Found out I needed a filling during routine cleaning and they did the filling right then saving me from coming back another day.

Unfortunately the business changed hands. I do miss the original owners, they ran a legit and honest business and did great work. While I was sitting in the chair I was presented with an estimate for work being done. I had already presented my insurance information at the front desk and was informed they accepted it. When I left I was charged $66.00 and informed again my insurance would cover the balance. Few weeks later a $800.00 bill arrived. If I knew this business did not accept my dental insurance I would have went to one that does. I have several others to choose from. I did attempt to resolve this issue with them. All I kept hearing was I signed a estimate and now I must pay. Should also be noted I called ahead of time to check that they are in my dental network. Again I was assured they are. I can only hope this was a honest mistake on there part? At a minimum they should have split the bill with me for misleading me. My overall impression is that they will tell you want to hear to get you in the door. Bottom line, I would never recommend Severna Park Dental to anyone. If you do go be very careful and don't be surprised when a several hundred dollar bill shows up a few weeks later.
