This review is for the front desk receptionist - Emily for Rockville location suite #320. I had my regular check-up appointment yesterday and it went great and then i was trying to schedule appointment for my next visit. Emily inform me there is no appointment available for my 28 wk check-up so i ask her if she can check for a week before or a week after( which i had already confirmed with Dr that is okay to do so) and she tells me no appointment unless i go to Bathesda location( which i already told her its not convenient for me). I also inform her that for the appointment before this as well i had to go to Bathesda location because you (Emily) had conveyed me there was no ultrasound tech available at Rockville location for whole week. I conveyed her that i am open to see any OB if she can find me appointment and she insisted on telling me there is no Dr available here and also they are out because its spring back and started getting very rude and angry with me. I told her that please dont get rude at me. I requested her that i am a patient here from the start of my pre-natal visits and you cant accommodate me for my regular f.up visit and she again tells me there are also other patients that Dr has to see, you are not the only one. And asking me again.. do i want to schedule appointment or not? Mind you.. she is telling me that she cant find me any appointments with any of the provider for 3 weeks so if i want to get my 28 wk appointment check-up done then i will need to go to Bathesda location. Because of their scheduling unavailability i need to visit to different location??( which i already did before). If they cant accommodate regular appointments even with different providers then what is a point of coming to this practice. So i told her that i will speak with supervisor or someone else to schedule next visit and then i call in few mins to talk with Manager/supervisor and Emily told me she is not available today but i got call 2 min after that from Marsha and she was nice and was able to find appointment for me and i also conveyed her my upsetting experience with Emily. Its very sad the way Emily spoke to me. She has no basic regards on how to speak to humanespecially when its no fault of patient. I left feeling frustrated and hurt the way she spoke. She needs be taught basic manners especially when she is handling the front desk and facing patients.

You cant even get through on their phone lines. They put you on hold and never come back. And we have not been able to get access to past medical records at this location, which is a violation of HIPAA.

This practice has mailed and faxed my medical records to another practice without my consent.

Masterclass practice! We've been coming here since my wife was about 7 weeks and just delivered. One thing I'll say early on is that this team is phenomenal! The first thing I noticed was the nice and helpful staff when setting up our first appointment. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and responsive to any questions. Furthermore, the office is clean and well-maintained. The wait times are excellent; it's always less than 10 minutes. Throughout our journey, we met with doctors Alter, Apgar, Alam, Georgiou, and Wolfgram. All of them were fantastic. Everyone we encountered was a real pleasure to work with. They all exhibited great bedside manners, were caring, and highly knowledgeable. We felt confident with any of them handling the delivery. We were in great hands. Dr. Apgar ended up performing the delivery, and our hearts go out to her. Her approach was brilliant, and we felt as if we were in the best hands from start to finish. She is a wonderful doctor, as they all are. We couldn't recommend this place any more than we already do. My hat's off to the entire practice! Great doctors and a strong sense of teamwork here. Highly recommended.

I've only had 2 appointments here since I found out I was pregnant. My first visit at this office was great. Can't say the same for the second appointment. The sonographer for my first visit (who was covering for the full time sonograher) was very kind and make me feel at easy durning my first sonogram. My next visit was for my 12 week appt and my sonographer was very rude. Her name is AnnMarie Dooley (the full-time sonographer). I had to greet myself as she did not even greet me or introduce herself. Then she rushed and clicked so fast in the sonogram that I had no idea what was going on. This is my first pregnancy and I was so excited and nervous for this appointment, hoping my baby made it safe to 12 weeks. When I asked a question she IGNORED me and kept clicking. She then was having trouble moving the baby and she shook my stomach hard with the probe without even informing what she was doing. She was very short with me. I really want to tell her to get off of me because I felt UNSAFE in that moment and felt I was given unprofessional care. She totally ruined the experience for me. I was so disappointed with my visit. Her behavior ruined my experience. AnnMarie Dooley should not work in healthcare if she treats patients like this. She never know what someone is going through or their path to motherhood. All of this behavior took place in front of my mother and fianc. I plan to file a formal complaint about her behavior as NO healthcare worker should behave in that manner. She was very disrespectful and did not even say bye or have a great day at the end of the visit. IF YOU PLAN TO COME HERE and she is the sonographer, ask if the provider/physician can be in the room. That's what I plan to do the next time, if I decide I want to return.
